No Sir this was not directed at you in any way. If it was directed at anyone it would be the people who posted some may comments here attacking the 17 Lewis st and our Alderwoman Erin Sturgis-Pascale.
I have seen your responds here and from what I can tell you are doing a great job, I just wish Alderwoman Erin Sturgis-Pascale would take a few lessions from you. Thank you for all your hard work
Jon Doe, what is your deal? I think you are full of it. Are you familiar with the issues at 17 Lewis? You make a lot of sweeping generalizations (poorly written ones, I might add). What are YOU doing for the Chatham Square area? Many of us out and about, involved, and trying to make a difference. You seem to just spend a lot of time whining and slamming people.
How can I not be familiar with 17 Lewis st. I have seen all the posting you and your friend have made here. At the start of it I was on your side, but then it turned in a internet mob attack.
(What are YOU doing for the Chatham Square area?) The question is what is the Chatham Square group doing for the community. Safe streets, Crime, Loud Music from cars at all hours and illegals all over the area. It's gotton worse and worse. Maybe you people would earn my respect if you tackled these issue's. But I understand you must be to busy planning your yearly party at the park so maybe when thats out of the way you could take a look at what is really the problems in our community.
(What are YOU doing for the Chatham Square area?) I'll tell you. I pay my property taxes over 4,000.00 last year, I have my car registered, I follow the laws of the road and I do not play loud music at all hours of the night.
The box that I'm written these comments SAY"S comments and these are my comments. I so sorry that I don't share your same thoughts, but like so many these days you ATTACK anyone who has a different opion then yours
I can't even believe I'm biting and responding, but here it goes...First of all, PEOPLE are not ILLEGAL...You know nothing about me or the contributions I make to our - yes, OUR - community. CSNA is about community building, we do what we can, and, I think, do it well. We are average citizens from all walks of life; we are not politicians or law enforcement officers, so we don't have any more control of the "issues" you state than you do, other than to contact people who are politicians and law enforcement officers. Paying your taxes, registering your car, and being a respectful driver and neighbor does NOT necessarily constitute someone who is actively trying to make their community a better place. I do all of these things, as do so many of the Chatham Square residents, but you need to open your mind and try to do so much more. There are wonderful people in our area. Have you made an effort to meet and regularly greet your neighbors and others in our community? Do you attend any of the CSNA meetings or events? How about our area's block parties? If not, you are missing out on the awesome diversity of our area and missing out on meeting some really great people.
When did I state you were an illegal? I didn't Sir. Yes I did attend a CSNA meeting ( 30 people in attendance) and the way it started was with a half hour pizza party. Then it went into what kind of stickers the CNSA should have so member can place on there doors. After that it went into the party that was being held at park the next month.
Maybe a big party after the problems in our community would be nice. But I belive that there are so many problems in our community that need to be addressed FIRST.
Sir I have lived in this community for over 30 years and know that it is full of average citizens from all walks of life. I also know that there are wounderful people liven in our community, when did I say there wasn't?
As far I can see the CSNA hasn't done much to improve the community out side of getting togetter and slapping one another on the back for being good people. I'm not saying that you aren't. a good person or are trying to do what is right. I'm just saying that our community has many more problems that need to be addressed First.
We have an Alderwoman who In my oppion is just worried about whats happing on Front Street or cross streets to front. She talks safe streets but tf you watch the news the streets are not safe but getting worse everyday.
