It doesn't look like anything is being done about this. We can't even sit outside during the day. This has been all summer. I just went outside, sprayed myself down w/bug spray from neck to toes and one bit me on the face :( We should be able to be outside in our yard. please do something. This was 1st reported almost 2 months ago. Summer will be over soon

It's been 1 year & this issue still exists. Is anyone ever going to do anything??

I was told we had to wait a year. It's been over a year. Can we please just have permission to take the pool down ourselves since the county wont do anything about it? The house is abandoned.

This pool was treated with larvicide last mosquito breeding season and that file was closed. This is a new season and new file was opened. It is currently under investigation. There is a legal process for abating violations on vacant properties that does take time. The County can not give the public authorization to take action on another person's private property. I left a message in april. No one has returned my call. This is the 2nd summer. Us & our neighbors r spending our own money to treat the pool ourselves but it's not helping. I will leave another message but I was told last year when I reported it in April 2019, we had to wait one year. It's now july 2020. :( summer will be over & pool still stands while we cant use our back yard for a 2nd season. It's bad even during the day. So many mosquitoes :(
