Here's another thought for you...why don't YOU call the township & have them put a STOP sign at Cedar & MacDade to keep someone from getting killed if it is two-way! Besides that...there are not any signs to indicate it is two way as you have described! I have spoke to folks about not stopping at the Cedar/MacDade intersection & their response..."I don't have to...there is no stop sign." So Cedar home owner...are you a responsible neighbor or do you just hide in that refuge of yours..oblivious to dangers in your own neighborhood or do you do something about it??? Your isolationist attitude is irrelevant because it is a PUBLIC street so... Get off your *** & fix what is wrong citizen!!

That is because it starts as a ONE WAY STREET after the diner!!!

I heard it's not one way right at the diner and that little strip mall. They complained it hurt business and are allowed to go out to Macdade there. It is an accident waiting to happen though!

Hi Ted...as your picture so clearly shows...it is marking the street as ONE WAY & this sign is located AFTER the restaurant parking lot...HOWEVER there is no stop sign at the MacDade end to STOP traffic going onto MacDade...there should be a STOP sign there as you would not place one there IF the road was ONE WAY away from MacDade...agree??? Any reasonable party would look at this and see that the road is ONE WAY from MacDade all the way down...because there is no stop sign at MacDade...if they were not familar with this area...so IF in fact it IS NOT one way UNTIL one reaches the sign in your picture...it should be clearly marked as such & a STOP sign placed at MacDade. This would end what is NOT clear and dangerious except to the folks living there. And as Kathleen so clearly put it...an accident waiting to happen! Think about this...it's not rocket science people...a couple of signs could corect this madness!

Art, do you live on Cedar? You are absolutely right. The township should fix the problem and put signs up. Cedar Ave is one way!

I live on Cedar ave and that realy needs to be fixed.I have kids who play outside.

Well...here it is months later & guess what...nothing has been done to correct this problem...nothing from the residents who live around this problem AND are aware of it...nothing from Ridley Twp. to correct it....hohum...So I guess a non-resident will have to bring it up for debate to the Twp.

It is a shame...really that the folks who live / work there just don't give a @#*! about such a problem & just permit ( yes...you are!!) such a dangerious suituation go unchecked is well beyound common sense! What is happening to us as people ...as citizens....as Americans???? Or is it that the Republicians or the Democrats are to blame?? What is it that is going on in our communities...our nation even that permits such attitudes as this to fester???

I guess it takes a REAL citizen to step-up & let their voice speak for those who just cower in their homes there on Oak Ave...or was that in another era...another time???
