the care taker for the property has been called and made aware of the boat that has a tree growing out of it in the parking lot the boat is still there nothing has been done about this. the real estate company knows who owns the building and they need to put pressure on them to clean it up. why do real estate owners feel that they have the right to leave this garbage in our neighborhood. they will never sell a building looking like that Clean It Up!!!!!!!!!

This is an ongoing problem. I can't help but wonder how much revenue Pontiac could make if it actually enforced its Blight Ordinances by issuing citations and handling out fines to all of the property owners who won't even cut their grass occasionally. Another aspect to this is dirt lot on Dover Road. 25% of it is overgrown with trees starting to root in the corner. On the other side of the street is the lot where the house burned down. That's overgrown. It's an insult to the property owners on Dover and in Washington Park who maintain their homes and take pride in their city.
