Description

Eastern end of Birdhouse Lane in the Austin Creek subdivision. Safety fencing for the steep slope has been up for 2 years, but is not a permanent solution and is starting to fall over. Very unsafe and scared our children could fall. Unused utilities and metal is sticking out of the ground and has been exposed for 2 years. Weed over growth is also present and is a challenge to keep off our property. Also, the road was supposed to continue and bridge across to another phase. My understanding is that this is no longer going to happen and I have not heard any solution from my community managers. Some sort of curbing or cul-de-sac for the road, with a less steep slope, some permanent fencing, and minimalized overgrowth would be a good solution. I would hate for someone to get hurt or possibly even drive off the end of the road. Something has to be done about this area. I have more photos, but the website only allows one. My email is jwaters@smeinc.com if I could communicate with someone.
