Stop sig on Windsor and Mabry makes no sense. Not enough traffic on Mabry to justify it. Afternoon traffic is absurd resulting in delays and air pollution. A traffic light there and at Osborne makes more sense.

Anonymous, the stop sign at the intersection of Windsor, Mabry and Antioch has a dual purpose. First, it encourages and makes drivers aware of the 25 MPH speed limit in the Lynwood Park area along Windsor. Secondly, it allows traffic in both Lynwood Park and Historic Brookhaven reasonable access to Windsor Parkway.
Anonymous, it really is not all about you.

Anonymous, today’s gas fueled automobiles with electronic ignition and fuel injection monitored by an assortment of intake and exhaust sensors mandated to be in proper operating condition by annual inspections are exceptionally efficient.
Anonymous, you are delusional and unrealistic in your ambitious desire to speed through Lynwood Park. We will not stand for your creation of dangerous conditions for our neighborhood.
Anonymous, if you are seriously concerned about the area ecology and environment, please consider an electric vehicle that is dependent on fossil fueled (natural gas and coal) electrical plants for their operation. (Please explain how you save the world using fossil fuels to generate electricity for electric vehicles.) Or you can consider a horse. If you elect to utilize a horse, please use a bag for waste collection and maintain your lane with a properly illuminated carriage. It is not all about you, or Historic Brookhaven, people in Lynwood Park like to have access to Windsor Parkway too and we are concerned about safety in our neighborhood as you are in yours. Remember that when you pass through our neighborhood as a visitor.

The City is in the process of reviewing our Transportation Systems including all intersections to gather information for our Comprehensive Transportation Plan. This plan will address issues with inefficient intersections and dictate what improvements we feel are necessary. We will be completing this plan in the coming months and will have meetings and plenty of opportunity for feedback from our residents.
