standing water at intersection please evaluate pitch of road for proper drainage

THE FLOODING ISSUES ON CHERRY ST. NE. NEED TO BE REVIEWED BY ENGINEERING

I have given up. I really don’t think anyone at the city SERIOUSLY CARES about this issue.

On our walks, we didn't see any storm drains on Cherry? Or is it coming from water below? Either way, we have to walk around this....for years and years. Can this not be dealt with?

This is such a chronic issue and needs to be addressed for public safety.

On 8/26 I sent email messages to Gina Driscoll, Cynthia Sheppard, and the Mayor’s office. I NEVER RECEIVED a response from the first two mentioned above. The mayors office was instrumental in getting a water vac truck here too late and then when I asked for at least a street sweeper to clean the filthy street nothing happened. I guess the next step is the news.

The corner of 8th Av NE & North Shore Dr is also still flooded, but the issue was closed today. Storm sewer crew reset the brick pavers & told me to call for engineering, which I left a message, but haven’t heard anything back yet. Over watering irrigation is one cause of excess water, but drainage is the main issue. Drains are down the block, not servicing this low area. Argh.
