Why has Route 9 not been repaved between Sunset and Cox Crow Road? There are "speed Bumps" which are extremely high, causing damage to many cars I am sure. They are ridiculously high for no reason at all they need to be fixed.

The state recently announced a few cosmetic touch-ups at some intersections between Lakewood and Rt. 571/Bey Lea, but the work won't even start until 2022.
The whole highway needs to be widened to 4 lanes, plus turning lanes. It's a relic from the 1920s!
Meanwhile, auto shops that fix suspensions, alignments and tires are very happy, even if drivers aren't.
