Description

Resident called in with a hazard concern regarding newly installed pavement and Catch Basin across from the Quinnipiac University Lacrosse Field- near 430 Mount Carmel Avenue. While the Catch Basin appears to be in the "sidewalk" area of the Right of Way, there are many pedestrians and bicyclists that hug that side to stay away from vehicular traffic during the day, while at night, there are no street lights and a vehicle can easily hit the structure.
Is it possible to do something for that Catch Basin to promote a safer passage for all the drivers, pedestrians and bicyclists in that heavily travelled area?
