This is an on-going problem and should not be closed until a solution has been found. Just because all the cars ultimately moved doesn't mean more won't park there tomorrow. This street is an odd hybrid between pedestrian-only and limited parking for only those visiting the Korean War Monument.
Children learn to ride bicycles there; they play ball and run around. And then a car will enter through the bollards. I don't feel it's appropriate to even have parking in there for the monument, but I get it. Many veterans visiting have a difficult time walking. But those who park there to make deliveries at PortSide or to hang out on the Peninsula should be ticketed.
