This is an extremely busy intersection and it would greatly benefit the flow of traffic if there was a light.

This Issue has not been fixed. What needs to happen would be for a local news station to do a live report showing the problems. This is a busy area of town during the morning and evening rush hours. Along with multiply stores and fast food resturaunts in the area. Ever since they re-adjusted the traffic light at Middle Sound Loop Road to a Longer Red/Green cycle the traffic backs up and causes longer delays along the Market Street corridor. Seems the DOT needs to Take a better look at the way the traffic patterns are effecting the local people. I can only imagine what is going to be like during the summer with the extra traffic from tourist. God Help us all.

As I have previously mentioned, this corner is in desperate need of a traffic light. You replied to me via email saying Odgen wasn’t a part of Wilmington. I’m not sure where you are getting your information, but yes we are apart of New Hanover County, and would greatly appreciate some help in getting a much need light. Make a right and turn around at the next light. That's what most safe drivers do.

You've got to be kidding. The intersection at Bayshore Estates has multiple accidents as well. The point is its dangerous to get out of our neighborhood.

Until some one of theirs gets hurt or god forbid killed nothing will be done.

I have totalled my vehicle pulling out of Wendover onto Market st. Maybe the speed limit should be lower in some areas. The speed limit on Market st is 45, the speed limit on Wendover (a residential) is 35. What I do now is go all the way around to middle sound loop road to market st. Its no fun being broad sided by a speeding car.

Yes, we need a traffic light here
