Ogden - Corner of Market St. and Wendover in Ogden (Smithfield's & Big Lots shopping center) desperately needs a traffic light. Impossible to make a left turn out of the development and there has been multi accidents.

it is almost impossiable to make a left turn from market onto Wendover, and making a left out of Wendover is impossiable. There is going to be a bad accident at this corner if something is not done. Don't wait until someone is killed to do something. Thank you for your concideration on this important subject.

This is an extremely busy intersection and it would greatly benefit the flow of traffic if there was a light.

This Issue has not been fixed. What needs to happen would be for a local news station to do a live report showing the problems. This is a busy area of town during the morning and evening rush hours. Along with multiply stores and fast food resturaunts in the area. Ever since they re-adjusted the traffic light at Middle Sound Loop Road to a Longer Red/Green cycle the traffic backs up and causes longer delays along the Market Street corridor. Seems the DOT needs to Take a better look at the way the traffic patterns are effecting the local people. I can only imagine what is going to be like during the summer with the extra traffic from tourist. God Help us all.

As I have previously mentioned, this corner is in desperate need of a traffic light. You replied to me via email saying Odgen wasn’t a part of Wilmington. I’m not sure where you are getting your information, but yes we are apart of New Hanover County, and would greatly appreciate some help in getting a much need light. You've got to be kidding. The intersection at Bayshore Estates has multiple accidents as well. The point is its dangerous to get out of our neighborhood.

I have totalled my vehicle pulling out of Wendover onto Market st. Maybe the speed limit should be lower in some areas. The speed limit on Market st is 45, the speed limit on Wendover (a residential) is 35. What I do now is go all the way around to middle sound loop road to market st. Its no fun being broad sided by a speeding car.
