Problem is this person is NOT a homeowner and the trailer is not blocking the hydrant. Stop sign issue? HMMM This woman lives in the rental across the street and is a nit picker.
Carol.. I report abandoned cars regularly to the VPD, and they don't do too bad a job of calling the tow company to get them towed. When it comes to more difficult law enforcement tasks, like prosecuting illegal, and unhygienic camping on our city streets, I'm less impressed. And as for blocking a fire hydrant and/or intersection, I'll repeat what I've said before. Vallejo used to employ an retired officer, who rode around town on a Kushman cart, ticketing illegal parking, expired license plates, improperly kerbed parked cars, and so on. These were, useful -- and remunerative -- public services, lost from the police budget in order to pay for machine guns, armored cars, and man-sized video games!

$5 will get you $10, it's going to be referred to Traffic Division....and then.....
Sure looks like an unlicensed, derelict piece of junk to me, project or not.
Already reported to PD. Simultaneous report here is to cover possibility that someone might see this, not as a parked vehicle, but as a dumped piece of traffic hazard.

Good of the City Attorney to be rendering a legal opinion on Sunday morning, but I think I'd prefer to keep the issue open until a formal assessment is posted here.
I could be wrong but Anna seems to be the owner of the ghetto trailer that is being worked on
She seems very mad it’s been reported
And can’t afford the storage fees
Does not care about the neighborhood property va
Statues, codes, rules, regulation and policy is corporate language. Laws are distinctly different from that. Remember, if you think you are a homeowner and have "your" property registered with the county to pay taxes and get permits, you don't really own it. There are real homeowners is this historic district with alodial title.

Trailer is gone, thanks to whoever -- City Attorney?
Trash pile around the tree (":It will be moved on Monday per the owner. Just spoke with city attorney".) is still there, now accompanied by an old bed -- obvious reference to "broken window syndrome" not really necessary, but a useful reminder of Branciforte (& Carolina) Street's history as City Hall's sargasso of trash -- dump it, and they won't come!
Too true..maybe they need to send another survey asking what I do (or would be willing to do) to help prevent blight and dumping in my neighborhood. Argh!
In the meantime, maybe you’d like to have a nice bottle Chianti with me and Anna sometime.
