The new speed limit signs on W. Oak Ave have created a section of road that has both a 35 MPH zone and a 25 MPH zone on the same section of road.

Traffic heading east into town is at 35 MPH from approx. Joyner Bluff up to N. Wingate.

In the same section, heading west towards Harris, from N. Wingate to approx. Joyner Bluff the speed limit is 25 MPH.

This is potentially a deadly situation for anyone looking to cross the road, where one side of the road is 10 MPH faster than the other side.
