Description

The issue of traffic sign and parking violations is occurring on the section of Young avenue NE between 9th Street and OJay's Parkway. Vehicles are routinely parked where the no parking sign is. Vehicles are routinely parked in the wrong direction sometimes on both sides of the street and sometimes cause obstruction of view for vehicles and pedestrians traveling from 9th Street or OJay's Parkway. More specifically, when the school bus is dropping off children which puts them at risk. It appears that the no parking sign should be replaced because the paint seems to be faded out. Also signs should be placed on both sides of the street. Vehicles should be ticketed for parking violations on a regular basis.
