All trees in between the sidewalk and street are county trees. The only trees that are county trees at this location were recently planted and are not doing any damage to the driveway as stated in the comments. The larger locust tree behind the sidewalk near the driveway is on private property. If this is a sidewalk concern please submit a See Click Fix under the Sidewalk Concern category.

Is my understanding that the tree is also a county tree on my property . multiple trees were planted by the county etween the sidewalk and the houses. recently two trees such were removed and then that were all between the sidewalk and the house and then new trees were planted between the sidewalk and the road this particular tree is also a county tree. I would like the county to re-evaluate this issue, looking back at records showing that this locust tree is indeed a county tree.

Greg J. I am not referring to the two new trees planted but another tree (facing the house, the tree on the right between the house and sidewalk). If you are so sure that the tree which is causing the cracks is not a county tree (which I think it is), then we can close this issue once you state it. I will have the tree removed and don't want the county to come back and tell me it was their tree and I have to replace it. This issue has been going on for too long. I cant park my car on the driveway as the branches from the tree keep damaging the paint. I

I have to check to make sure if county has a tree easement

the county does have a tree easement so they are county owned trees , will give resident a permit to remove tree and stump and that will be at the residents cost not the county - will be looking to drop permit off to resident within a week to two

If it is a county owned tree, why is the county not removing the tree its its expense? Seems like a county tree is destroying my driveway. I would like you to reconsider payment of the tree removal Please.

homeowner was given permit to remove tree and was explained that this would be at the homeowner cost. this issue is closed
