People are lazy and sometimes don't apply the turn signal and no one knows what they are going to do.

Although it's too late now (due to weather), hopefully this will be done in the spring. It would clarify to drivers where they should be, in one of two lanes (left only, or straight through/right turn) instead of scattered when coming up to the light.

tired of watching people almost gett into an accident because there are 2 rows of people sitting at the light side by side, each thinking that THEY are in the straight through lane, and neither will "give" to merge after going through the light - thereby almost causing the person on the left to nearly go head on into the person across from them waiting to make a left.

The weather is getting warmer, so let's hope these lanes get striped soon - tired of almost getting hit while waiting to make a left turn!

Watched it happen AGAIN three times last week, cars scattered all over, each one assuming they were correct where they were because there is NO definition for left turn and straight through. Can the city be held responsible for accidents due to this?

Petty! If you dont know Columbia by now, or what side of the road to drive on w/out a line, U DONT NEED A LICENSE!

Obviously there are many people who either don't "know" or simply don't care, otherwise it wouldn't be an issue, but the fact remains that at any given time you will see vehicles staggered across the street (left turn from the right lane anyone? yep, seen it happen several times; repeatedly watched people almost get hit making a left by an oncoming driver that came through what should be the left turn lane) so apparently someone cares enough to believe that it IS a safety issue and posted it, whether you consider it "petty" or not.

Yup, I live on the corner of price and columbia, I see nothing of the sort..... It's petty! It's an excuse to complain about "something....."

It's your right and privilege to post your responses, just like it's mine to post a concern. If it isn't of any concern to you, then why waste the space with responses?

I guess the same reason you're waisting space! We live in Pontiac where residents are treated like scum! We cant even get our streets plowed or salted! They wouldnt even replace the traffic light that was knocked down at columbia and price, what makes u think they'll paint a white line due to these comments? My suggestion too you, since you're so stressed about a "white line", get some exterior paint and do it yourself, thats the only way us residence will get something done, doing it yourself. Welcome to Pontiac, where we are NOT cared about!
