The Train schedule are not part of a timed plan to coordinate with a city intersection lighting issue. I guess that there is in one situation the I know of by the hospital when there is no left hand turning signal with an oncoming train. Changing you routine to avoid this inconvience may be the most ideal solution. There is always another avenue to take though may not neccesarily be theost direct. Still a minor situation to deal with. The bridge delay is a minor issue in my mind. Leave earlier, taking another route are two reasonable options. Sure the other routes may be longer, this is a temporary issue as these repairs occur. I have to ask what solution to the downtown issue would the OP suggest as a option.

hard to change your route when you're stuck in the gridlock that is main street. I wasnt blaming the train or the construction, I was stating that they didnt help the situation. My original complaint is/was the sequence of the lights going down 100th.

The contractor working on the Intelligent Signal Program replaced the controllers in the downtown core before receiving authorization from the City that the communications were working. This caused the timing s to get out of sequence. The old controllers have been put back in place and City crews are checking the programs. Most of the downtown should be back to normal.
