Cliffwood Avenue has a school zone marked on either side of Cliffwood Elementary School, with special speed limit sides that bring the speed down to 25 MPH during school hours. There is a crossing guard at the corner of Cliffwood and Matawan Aves who carries a big yellow SCHOOL CAUTION/red STOP sign during the morning and afternoon treks to and from school. More warning of a school zone ahead isn't a bad idea, but I think it is hard to miss the fact that school is ready to convene or has just let out. Those who miss the clues are just as likely to get a ticket from the ever-present Aberdeen PD traffic cop nearby.
