This does not seem to be a significant reason to close the issue. You could easily prevent crashes, injuries, and death by curb protecting the bike lane here. Yet you want law enforcement to issue moving violations instead? I'd rather not attend another ghost bike ceremony when these deaths can be easily avoided with a better design and protection.
