Thank for posting this concern. City of Brookhaven recognizes the storm water problem and understand that a large amount of rain fell. We will conduct an investigation.

Thanks. It doesn't help that some neighbors, rather than bagging their yard debris and leaves, simply blow it into the street or place in piles along the curb.

The water runoff has been creating erosion issues for years causing driveways to crack, leaves unsightly debris/garbage in driveways, yards; and my yard will not grow grass properly. All other repairs or resolutions are only temporary because the water runoff is the source of the problem.

DeKalb County assessed the situation and agreed something needed to be done to the grade of the street, the curbs, and the inlets. They started the project but as soon as we voted to be our own city they abandoned us and never came back to finish the job.
