There are a couple of bags of garbage that have gotten into the water and drifted into the docks to the south.

This is terrible. Why would someone dump trash on the road in a neighborhood with regular pickup —unless they were trying to hide something in it.

Would be nice to find out who did it and actually issue a fine for littering.

If the city came to get the trash already, they didn't do a very good job. There is still a blanket on the seawall and another bag of trash just over the wall. There's another bag drifting out from the seawall. This needs to be picked up.

In the meantime - how about the neighborhood just getting it done. I plan on moving there soon and sometimes you have take responsibility and just do it.

Ordinarily I think the majority of your future neighbors would agree with you, Michele, and pick up random trash, I can’t tell you how much I pull out of the bay, and i’m Not alone. We all care about our neighborhood. But in this case you’re talking about three large yard trash bags that aren’t on anyone’s property, bags that are wet and full, that would have to be transported to a house, probably in a car. Who knows what is in these bags? I don’t think it’s a good idea and I’m pretty sure when you are here you’ll agree. The sanitation service is equipped to handle this.
