Description
Two sinkholes located in a common/retention area bordered by SW 91st Street to the west and the Grove subdivision in Haile Plantation (to the north). One is larger than the other, and the smaller one (photo is included) has been growing in diameter over the past several weeks. Both are at least 20 feet deep. In the past decade, on multiple occasions PUBLIC WORKS has filled sinkholes in this common area, which pose a peril to people and pets who use the common area. Your assistance in addressing this hazard and continued support in maintaining this common area would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for bringing this issue to our department's attention.
It is very possible that maintenance was performed by our staff in the past, unfortunately, the service was performed in error because the area of concern is not within our maintenance jurisdiction. If it is proven that this common area is outside of the county's right of way, we will not be able to respond. Should this be the case, the HOA or property manager needs to be made aware of this situation and they need to solicit the proper resources. We do apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.
