Description
Hello,
There is no clear end to the handicap parking zone on the left side of Bradlee Road. We parked where we thought there was open parking, but got a ticket. In an effort to not make the same mistake and to help others more clearly identify where we are allowed to park, we would like to request that a clear “end point” for the handicap spots be labeled with either a sign or paint on the curb. Thank you for your consideration.

Hello, again. I appreciate that this was handed over to the DPW. Has any decision been made to clarify the signage? I have noticed at least one other person with a ticket for parking there, but they were a bit closer to the handicap sign than we were. There was still enough space for a car in front of them, which leads me to believe there are two handicap spaces? Again, I just want to make sure it’s clear so we don’t park where we shouldn’t, especially with so many people needing the handicap parking in our area.
Thank you!

There is still no update on this. Do you know when one might happen? Is this the kind of situation where I should give up because it is so low on the list of necessary changes that it will never get dealt with? Is there someone else I should bring this up with? I am just trying to ensure the correct number of handicap spots gets reserved and nobody else gets tickets!
Thank you for you work!

Hi all, The Medford Traffic Commission (TC) approves all HP spaces on public roads so the TC should have records on the intent/length of the HP space. A sign could then be installed at the back end of the HP space to help delineate for all.
In general, it is typ. clear if near a driveway or a street that it is for one space, at other times, further clarification may be needed.
Thanks again!
