Hi,

I submitted several items that needed repair in the small dog park. I opened separate see-click-fix tickets with pictures. The water erosion from the last big storm flooded the park. The bridges are out (big dog park), all along the fence there is erosion. I suggest that someone walk the fence through the entire park and see where there are problems. They are just going to get worst as the weather changes. When someone walks the park; they can also check the drinking fountain, benches that may need repair, etc.

This is crazy. I know that all of you are working with limited resources. My requests need to be prioritized. The front gate should be first. Concrete would probably last the longest but even Pouring gravel and leveling the area would work. Someone is going to trip and it will cost more to pay their medical bills, not to mention possible lawsuit. Many people would offer to help to get these problems fixed.

I don’t think any of my requests have been fixed.

I have passed the requests to our managers as they have come in, and managers have been meeting with engineers for advise on how to fix the erosion issue effectively and efficiently.

All of the materials placed by the entrance gate have been removed and gate will be lowered today.

We are receiving quotes on replacing the fence and bridges.

We are working on a solution for the trash gathering water fountain causing it not to function properly.

Hi, the debris was removed but a problem still exists. If I wasn’t clear forgive me. The problem is the gap between the bottom of the gate and the dirt. Small dogs can get through the gap and could be hit by a car. I could have removed the debris under the gate. I know of several people that quit bringing their dogs to the park because of the gaps in the fence. I had opened another request about the fence along Adams St. Same problem. The blue bowl is approximately 6 inches high. Easiest fix is lay bricks and fill gaps with dirt. Thank you for your attention

I have spoken to our staff, and been informed that we have received the quotes to repair the gate and are trying to secure funding for this project to proceed.

After receiving the quotes on bridge replacement and securing funding for these projects, the park will be temporarily closed to complete all repairs (the public will be provided ample notice).

We appreciate your reporting and are working on addressing all of the concerns that have been reported.
