Description

Construction on Rt 1 (Washington Blvd) is diverting southbound traffic into "left-turn only" lane for Old Washington Rd. Traffic attempting to turn left onto Old Washington Rd backs-up traffic badly - sometimes all the way to the I-195 interchange in the evening rush. I suggest that left turns onto Old Washington Rd be prohibited until construction is complete, and traffic detoured to Montgomery Rd.
