I agree with @Sorrento. There seems to be a lot of graffiti in the 1700, 1800, 1900, 2000 and 2100 blocks of Parkwood, Grayland, Cary, Main and Floyd. @RVACareWarrior, do the police get these reports in addition to them going to the Grounds Management Team?

It has been over a month since this was reported. Where do we stand on this issue? Lot of graffiti in this general area

Other graffiti in the area has been taken care of. What is going on with this issue and that at 2026 W Main?

Another week has gone by. This is simple white paint. Can someone respond? Adjacent buildings can be taken care of while on site

Entirely too long to have this unaddressed. This should have been dealt a blow long ago.

My experience is that the city has usually been quick to fix graffiti -- when it doesn't need a release from an owner of private property. Hard to know if the city is delayed on this or the owner hasn't returned the form. But usually the notes from the city say that a form was sent. That isn't the case here.

Respectfully, please make sure that if you see graffiti that you report the exact address so that correspondence can be mailed to the property owner(s) to ask permission to remove the graffiti - there must be a signed release form on file before at City Hall before the crew can execute. Sharing 1700, 1800 blk of a street does not pinpoint where to mail out a correspondence to an owner. If an owner does not return the release form giving us permission to do the work, the crew cannot execute the function.
