Description
It's 11:30 AM on Saturday.
Workers are at 316 8th Street ripping up the side walk and using loud power tools outside working on this property. Owner/developer is converting this 4 unit bldg into condos. Am I correct that loud power tool construction is not permitted on Saturdays & Sundays?

Neighbors are now very concerned with this new sidewalk poured because there are NO EXPANSION JOINTS.
No "expansion joints" in this sidewalk may cause improper drainage and could also cause cracking of the sidewalk.

Thank you Wassem for taking my call this morning and explaining that special permission was given by Construction Dept to cut up the sidewalk on Saturday morning.
Today the work crew is at 316 8th using a huge circular saw and cutting "expansion joints" into the sidewalk that they poured on Saturday.
