Description

Clogged drain located maybe 50 feet from the road between 17 Fontaine Street and neighboring home on property line. City employee told homeowners that city has easement and owns drain, which connects to main storm drain on road from yard.

Unfortunately that was inaccurate information that was given. The City of Marlborough does not have a drain easement on this property and does not own the drainage system on this property.
The deeds associated with this property (Book 33964/Page 231, Book 44991/Page 561, Book 72327/Page 44) do not reference any easements owned by the City.
