Recurring problem. Needs HPD South Central attention.

The area is cleaned on Mondays and Thursdays at 1 pm. Was not cleaned last Thursday due to Tropical Storm Imelda, it is scheduled to be cleaned today.

I just drove in that street and it looks way worse than in the picture here. So I highly doubt they clean the area. Embarrassing

I spoke with HPD DRT team this am. I alerted our FST crew. All was collected. I did however reiterate what Keith said as well to our HPD officers that DTMD cleans from Miliam down to Chenevert on Monday's at 1 pm . I forgot ya'll added Thursday clean ups as well. Thanks by the way..

Hey Mark. Petition for a Daily Trach Pickup Through-out Mid Town. They walk a route and empty anything over one third full. Make it routine, not a special event. Coordinate with Waste Management. Get Trash Urns like The Woodlands Residents use, only better Looking, The truck pick up the trash can, dumps it and retruns the receptacle. No Trash bag required. Hire me to be a Trash czar, tsar, lord temporal, sultan, caliph, shah, pasha, Dalai Lama, mogul, rajah, maharajah, khan, mikado; or INNOVATOR! let's fix it!!!!

I saw that the bulk of the trash was picked up yesterday and it looked much better. However, the root of the problem still exists, which is the dozens of people that loiter in that area that litter with abandon. They should not be allowed to hang out there since they are causing the trash to pile up. That entire block around Pierce and Main is a constant mess.

Today it looks at its worst! I’ve never seen so much trash inside a city in my life! Disgusting
