The holes in the flooring have grown in the 5 months since Councilman Mattison initially reported the flooring. With the flooring holes, that has the potential for creating significant liability for the city if a child is injured. Brookhaven, if the city is truly committed to improving parks - as the message was sold to the electorate during cityhood campaign - you should get out there and fix the holes ASAP (not more than 5 months after first being reported by one of the own city commissioners)!

This issue has been acknowledged by parks and rec staff. Playground vendors have been solicited for repairs and a schedule is being coordinated for repairs currently.
