Description

The stop light at Devir St and Highland Ave has been a blinking light for decades. Putting this light into rotation has already caused even more traffic on an already heavily congested street. To truly help the problem, instead of just activating a stop light, Highland Ave needs lanes. There is only a middle lane divider for a road that use to be multiple lanes on each side. The traffic in this area is only going to continue to get worse when Wellington Woods starts filling up. Marked lanes and a middle turn lane near Dunkin’s plaza are needed, not another stop light when there’s one two blocks away.
