Came back to Salem after a few years shocked and disappointed to see that most of the public and green spaces are barely alive and missing public seating after missing public seating the Salem Common has brazenly reduced seats (endless funds to increase surveillance though), no seating along Salem Cinema nor the Armory nor anywhere else.

Empty patches all over the Common, no green cover locals tell me more and more events and concerts and movie shoots are increasingly making use of public commons with no public benefit.

Maybe it is an upbringing thing or pure greed, but request mayor and city to increase seating areas and provide a respectable green cover and trees for Salem common and downtown tourist areas, rather than gouge the city for revenue at the cost of the public good.
