Cars traveling northeast on Palmer wanting to make a left onto Weaver have sightline blocked by cars traveling in opposite direction making left onto Weaver. Often only 1 or 2 cars make it through the intersection before the light turns.

I find that if drivers would simply pull into the intersection slightly--and keep as far left as possible (the way we were all taught!) that it really could go a long way to easing this congestion.

A left turn signal would definitely help. With a road sensor to detect traffic waiting to turn.

Palmer Ave. is a Westchester County owned street, maybe a call to the WC DPW might help with this problem.
