Description
The alley between 37th & 38th Ave NE needs to be paved to a solid surface. Erosion and potholes are a constant issue and rains wash the dirt that makes up the alley into the rain gutters on the street and blocks the runoff. Just resurfacing with new dirt has not and will not suffice. It needs to be dug up, packed and paved properly. The alley 20ft away across Locust St is totally paved and they have none of these issues. We all pay the same taxes and should be afforded the same basic amenities with regards to having a paved, smooth alley. Please fix this and make many permanent residents very happy. Thank you

There are sinkholes throughout the alley. At last count I counted 38 patches. and at least 10 substantial dips which is indicative I'm told as broken drain lines.
No other alley in this area is like this and although a different tax base. This would never be accepted in Old NE, Snell Isle, Shore Acres, Kenwood, Edge district. Matter of fact in my 25 yrs in St. Pete I dont know I've ever seen an alley in this poor condition.
I'd take pictures but I would need to send a long video.
I'd like our city councilmen to drive it and see.

This is not just about alley repaving it's about repairing underground pipes. The above statement was offered by Steve Kornel.
Why doesn't someone her to our city councilman? Isnt that his job, fighting for his constituents?

I am not going to promise anything. But I've been able to get things done that others could not.
