Description
This road has become a bypass for people trying to avoid traffic on 202. The stop sign on the north end of Faucett hasn't slowed the traffic. We need speed bumps along this road and a lowered speed limit to 15 mph so that the kids can cross the street to visit with friends & so that the families in this neighborhood can get in and out of the driveways and out of the Faucett Drive intersection without the daily near misses. It's just a matter of time until there is a serious accident.

We think YOU should go play in the street, lets us know when so we, who live in the area and are impacted by this, can speed by and maybe just miss you or maybe ooops......

You got a deal. I'll pay to improve quality of life for all of us. Huh, isn't that what our elected officials are supposed to already be doing with our tax dollars??????

It sounds like Mr Whipple has a good insight into the mindset of people ignoring the stop signs and speeding on the road. So, perhaps speedbumps aren't the solution. We could install traffic control posts and stop signs. The problem is bad enough that I would be happy to pay for the posts, stop signs and lowered speed limit signs. I priced them through a supply company and the total cost including installation would be under $500. That's a great idea to follow up on.
I find the whole situation rather sad. If people followed the laws/signs in place, none of this would be necessary. Instead, it seems like the best solution is to make driving down the road so difficult that it will save people time to drive around.
