The traffic lights timer needs to be adjusted. It is so difficult to turn R onto Mt A coming south down FPP at the start of green light because cars going north on FPP continue crossing intersection to access Mt A heading toward the cemetery. That intersection light should show Red a few seconds sooner than at present. This would allow a little more time for cars proceeding down FPP towards the river or Mt A when their light turns green. At present cars get backed up waiting for the Mt A light at Coolidge Ave to turn green. That huge intersection is so dangerous.

Totally agree. At the other end of the school day 3:15-3:45, cars turning left from Coolidge Ave onto Mt Auburn have to wait 3+ cycles to attain the usually wide open turning lane, as right-turning cars are backed up by traffic, blocking access to the turning lane. Why not move the double line at least several car lengths further down Coolidge Ave? There is plenty of space to do so.

I've been walking and biking this route since I started working at SHS some years ago. No one ever stops for the crosswalk light at ?Gerry's Landing Rd? People regularly run the red, through the walk light. The walk signal is hardly long enough to cross the street, let alone the drivers speeding through.
Everyday! Everyday! I don't really care at all about the cars, just needs to be safer for pedestrians and cyclist.

What frightens me is that I don't think anything will happen until more pedestrians and cyclists are hit at this intersection (my understanding is that there have already been a few). I hope it won't take a fatality to expedite fixing it.
