It's better at 12-1PM as I went by. There are less cars. However; today is mowing day and guess what issues that brings about? I can only imagine.

Yes, this is a big issue. I have brought it up to the City more than once. Cars and buses regularly park along the River Trail through access at the end of Museum Drive. I've suggested that they install some sort of barrier that allows pedestrians and bicyclists onto the trail, but not motorized vehicles. It's very dangerous to allow motorized vehicles on the trail. During special events such as Silver Bells, I have actually seen cars parked along the trail all the way past the 496 interchange. (see photos) In addition to the safety aspect, the trail really isn't built to handle the weight of buses and other vehicles.
