Thank you for contacting the Traffic Engineering Division. The Traffic Engineering Division can prohibit parking on Locust Trail, however we will need a consensus from all of the residents on the road. This consensus is best achieved by working through our Neighborhood Traffic Control Process. Please read through our guidelines at https://www.aacounty.org/departments/public-works/highways/forms-and-publications/Traffic_Control_Techniques.pdf While the focus of this document is on speeding, it is the same process we use when we are creating a parking plan for a neighborhood or street like Locust Trl.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or when your group is ready to begin the process.
Regards,
Erik
