Description

Several years ago there was 25 mph speed limit sign on Olde Village Run right after Vermack Rd. and Olde Village Run intersection. Some one run the sign over and it was never replaced. There is later a 25 mph speed limit sign but that sign is too late. The drivers have already accelerated to 35 mph and over and they do not slow down even if they notice the 25 mph sign.
Since the traffic on Womack Road and Vermack Road is nowadays so congested during the rush hours Olde Village Run has become a alternative short cut for large number of drivers and at the same time dangerous for Village Mill neighborhood families and particularly for the young kids.

It is important that an additional 25 mph speed limit sign is installed in the original place right at the beginning of Olde village Run right after the Vermack Rd. intersection. The existing 25 mph sign which is too far from the intersection may stay just to confirm that we are serious about the speed limit.
