Description
This intersection DESPERATELY needs a signal. Foundations have been poured for almost a year, and no further construction has occurred. If you're going to allow people to turn left across 4 lanes and 2 dedicated turning lanes as they come out of the Clock Tower Shopping Center, there must be a signal of some kind before there's a fatality here. Since this is just outside the Herndon Township, I'm not sure if it falls under the purview of VDOT or Fairfax County.

Agreed! This should have been salved years ago, and like Fred said, it's been stalled for at least a year with nothing more than concrete footings.
There's a new apartment complex under construction just up the road that was nothing but a stand of trees when the footings were there; now it's at least halfway completed. How is it possible that land can be cleared, water/sewer/electric laid, and 5 big buildings be nearing completion in less time than it takes to plant a couple of traffic signals?
