Description

The right-turn lane from SB Santa Cruz Ave onto WB Sand Hill Road has an extremely hazardous oil slick as of 10:20 AM 10/9/19. It is particularly dangerous for cyclists, because it appears to be just a water spill, but is slippery enough to cause a wipeout when making the turn even when traveling slowly. This could easily cause a cyclist to crash into a vehicle and be seriously injured or worse. Please clean it up or at least put up signs until it is clean. It looks like whatever vehicle created the slick continued to drive westbound on Sand Hill Road, but the slick is most dangerous in that turn lane.
