Description
Over the past couple weeks, there has been a tent set up with a bunch of other junk layed out next to it. This is at the intersection of webster and constitution way right outside the tube to get to Oakland.

One can thank the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals and its "Boise" decision for this gem. One can Google it. People are compassionate yet they Want/deserve standards.
The "Posey Triangle" is rapidly becoming Alameda's Home Depot. ⏰⏰⏰⏰ Guaranteed this would not happen in the Gold Coast. Sad. Real sad.

Can you go into more detail regarding "work through the process"? What is the process? How can you expedite the process?
This issue was reported 2 weeks ago. What is the difference between today and another 2 weeks from now?

I will save you time...City says they work to find these folks housing. Problem is they have the right to refuse housing and remain there creating an unsanitary mess.
Woman has been living in a nearby bus shelter for most of 2019. Returned from housing and lives rent free at the bus stop with her smart phone and laptop. A few yards away, on the beltline, is a burgeoning encampment near two pre schools. One of the transients was offered housing, however, prefers to live alfresco. They even have a pick up truck and bring in supplies.⏰⏰⏰
Politically the will to deal with this head on is not here in Alameda as the mentality is "everyone belongs". Guranteed local pols would cry NIMBY if it were affecting them personally. Sad. Real Sad. ⏰⏰⏰⏰
