I think some traffic calming would help on this street!

It is very difficult to find gaps in traffic to safely cross between businesses near Carbones and Bergans Supervalu. This should be addressed for safety, as well as business accessibility.

A couple crosswalks and some delineated parking might help this area. It's another 1+ lane situation. It's dangerous for cyclists too, with no official lane boundaries. Lines are usually ignored and seeing someone use the oncoming traffic lane as a left turn lane happens every few minutes. The city/county should consider turning the painted medians into hard-scape or just redesign this whole block from Minnehaha to 47th.

this would be a great place to showcase the county's new 'complete streets' policy. This is a GREAT place to integrate Multi-modal (bike, bus, walk) transportation!! Bike lockers, better bus stops and improved pedestrian accessibility would really make this block a great (and safe!) place!

Still and issue, this area is just getting worse every week.

Another perfect place for in-street crosswalk signs...

In-Street crosswalk signs would be great. However, this will still be a tough crossing during the busy hours of the day. Even after that comment - there should be something done to improve safety and lower speed.

Any news on this? This area needs some MAJOR help, but a crosswalk sign sure would help in the short term!
