lived in this city for 28 years i cant remeber people NOT fighting on the green . sometimes gangs meet there to have it out. there is also some guys who practice brazilian jui jitsu there also.

If these are bona-fide fights they should be stopped. I've seen fights break out (or very nearly so) among kids waiting for the bus at Elm and Temple.

However, I've also seen martial arts groups working out and even sparring there. This is a perfectly legitimate use for the Green (one of the most under-utilized public spaces I've ever seen, anywhere), and I hope our complaints don't wind up putting the kibosh on it.
