Something needs to be done about the speeding along Beach Park Blvd. The speed limit is 35, but every day, I see drivers going well over 50 mph as if this is San Tomas Expressway. The street may be wide, but this is still a residential street, with drivers trying to pulling out of their driveways and residents trying to cross the street.
May we explore painting the speed limits on the road? That may be more visible to these speeders.

For the drivers who know they are speeding, nothing we can do will change their behavior, outside being caught and ticketed. But for the drivers who do not realize the speed limit is only 35 (i.e. bad drivers), if the painted-on road signage is blatant, like in the picture, maybe we get lucky and some of them slow down.

What is being done with this request? Daily, I am still experiencing inconsiderate, bad drivers, going well over 45 mph. This is especially true during the morning hours.
If nothing is going to be done with signage, I suggest someone from the Police Department make a post on Nextdoor.com. If they make drivers aware that they are watching and use strong wording to deter it, perhaps some of the bad drivers, who think it's okay to break the law as long as no police are present, may consider slowing down.
