Description
I live at 33 Andrews Street and it seems city workers think they can just drive up our driveway for no reason. My nest camera caught this city truck in my private driveway this morning. It’s not the first time. This needs to stop. Also the company you hired to cut branches for electric wires entered my property and started walking around my house without asking permission. Your map shows Andrews Street coming up into my driveway, you need to change that because Andrews Street ends at the seawall in the parking lot, not at the front door of my house!!

I will investigate to find out why at City truck was on your property and get back to you. The City does not hire a company to clear around the electric lines, they are hired by National Grid. You can speak with them directly to discuss your concerns.
Andrews St actually ends at the fish shack. You, the City and the State landing have a ROW over private property leading from the fish shack to the Seawall. Due to the access of your property, the street address remains Andrews Street

Hi Mike, Thanks for getting back to me. Would the city be able to put up an official sign at the juncture of the parking lot and the start of our driveway saying that our driveway is private property? Otherwise I am going to put up a big red stop sign saying ‘Private Property No Trespassing ’ at the entrance to our driveway.
I have two more photos of vehicles coming up our driveway this morning. It’s getting out of hand.
Regarding the end of Andrews Street, Apple maps and other similar phone app maps show the end of Andrews being at our front door up our driveway. This is part of the problem. We have notified Apple but haven’t heard back. Does the city ever handle these issues when the maps are wrong? Any suggestions?
Thanks, Diane Pappas
