Fence it off please!

This has got to get under control. This affects not only the park but the multi-use trail on the south side of I40. The bike tunnel under Eubank at I40 is a disgraceful scene of trash and camp set ups.

It is completely unaaceptable for CABQ to engage in a deliberate policy of funneling homeless people into our working class neighbohood and thereby dumping the problem on us and placing it oyt of sight.

Why don't you try funneling them up to Tanoan???

There has been tents up for at least 4 days inside the fence to the west of the dog park. Also there are people living in RV's that are in the parking lot by the playground every single day and night.

This issue has been reported almost everyday for over a year by myself and many others. These people trash the area daily, relieve themselves where ever they want, shoot up/ smoke meth in plain sight, have sex in the portable bathrooms, and who knows what else. Yet there isn’t any long term consequences!!!! Now it’s an RV Park!!!! What a joke the City of Albuquerque solutions are.

Its not just the park either. The entire I40 multiuse trail is a corridor for homeless movement. CABQ gives absolutely minimal maintenance to the disgusting trash and weed problem and the tunnel under Juan Tabo and the tunnel under Eubank are so clogged with either trash/urine odors or actual homeless camps that the trails are dangerous and/or unusable. CABQ thinks stenciling "no loitering" signs on the tunnels will fix the issue. What a joke. Where are the APD bike patrols that have been promised? Where is our councilor Diane Gibson? Where is our mayor????
