Description

This intersection has a left turn lane, a middle through lane and a right through/turn lane. The current markings in the road are fading and need to be reworked. As the county plans this work I would like to request a slight change to the arrows painted in the roadway.

Current Markings:
Left turn is marked as a left turn
Middle is not marked
Right is marked as a straight through and right turn.

Proposed Changes:
Left turn is marked as a left turn
Middle marked as straight through
Right is marked as a right turn (no straight through marking)

Reasoning:
Today people come into Lansbrook and many use the right lane to go straight into Lansbrook. This creates a backup as many are concentrated in the right lane and it causes an unnecessary delay in turning right into Berisford.

I believe this change would allow for better flow of traffic entering Lansbrook.
