What was the outcome of the notification. Did they commit to a time frame? Did they commit to fixing it. This should not be closed until national grid fixes the issue. This had been reported at least three times to national grid, twice by their own field people and once by a private residence. No action has been taken. A ticket was opened with the town so we can get some urgency behind the request. Simply closing the ticket will lead to just another no response.

Well they came with a couple of trucks and a bucket truck just stood around and left. Still not fixed. Public safety issue..

This a NGRid and Verizon pole guy issue and not DPW the property owner should contact the utility company for resolution

It is not on homeowner's property it is on town property. Abutting homeowners have called multiple times. This is a public safety issue, get it fixed or you may end up liable if someone gets hurt. Figure it out.

Keith why would it be the owners issue? If this ticket is not getting assigned to the right area, then that needs to happen. It's a telephone pole that had the anchor pulled out by a tree on Canton street falling across the wires. See the pictures? Why would this be OUR issue? It's extremely dangerous Please get this taken care of. NG, Verizon and Comcast say it's dangerous and nothing is being fixed after 2 years, you don't think the town should get involved? You would need to make sure it gets taken care of and that they report back to you that it's complete. That's what needs to happen and the ticket should stay open until then.

Nobody is claiming this is a DPW issue. It is certainly not a homeowner issue. I got to imagine there other departments that can be assigned an open ticket besides DPW. So please figure it out. How about being part of the solution instead of just saying it is not my job. This is ridiculous.
